The old town is by far the best part of this town with the old winding streets. The long, arched protective wall along the port makes a nice walk along the sea. There are plenty of little streets for exploring, restaurants of all types and prices. There are lots of shops in this area of the town, from authentic provencal shops to tourist gift shops.
Antibes has both fine sand and pebble beaches as well as five yacht harbours. There are many watersports available such as, waterskiing, parascending, diving and fishing. The Picasso Museum can be found within the Chateau Grimaldi, near the sea and ramparts, built by the architect Vauban.
